Welcome to our Restaurant "Altes Backhaus". Our menu concentrates on healthy and vital food. You won't find fried or convenience food but vegan and vegetarian specialities combined with fish and meat from the region, all prepared without additives. Since August 2018 you can also stay overnight with us! We are looking forward to your visit!
Restaurant Altes Backhaus
No convenience food, no instant soup, everything fresh and homemade. With a high proportion of vegan and vegetarian dishes. In any case, always with lots of fresh vegetables from the region and a
menu that changes at least once a month.
Appartements Altes Backhaus
The historic town house from the 17th century with its elegant façade was renovated in 2016 and redesigned into our well-known day-restaurant Altes Backhaus. In 2018 the upper floor was
redesigned with 4 completely new apartments.
Four beautiful holiday apartments, all equipped with small kitchens and air conditioning, offer space for 2-4 persons right in the city centre.
The location next to the cultural highlights of Eisenstadt, the castle Esterhazy, the Haydnhaus or the town hall with the Haydn-Festival are only a few steps away and leaves an unforgettable
impression of Eisenstadt.
